ALSTROEMERIA

Alstroemeria love a cold climate which is why Tasmania is so well suited to growing this flower. It is commonly called the Peruvian lily or lily of the Incas. So the fact that it originates from such a cold part of the world makes sense it does so well in Tasmania right? This winter-growing plant grows beautifully throughout the entire year and has lovely clusters of colourful flowers in amongst its green foliage. Its a bouquet in itself.
